A Walk into The Queen's Arms
A walk from Edenbridge through fields and woodland, and along riverbanks and country lanes, with continuous views to the Greensand Ridge or the High Weald as we make our way to the locally much loved Queen's Arms (better known as Annie's), which retains the internal atmosphere and furnishings of a mid 20th Century hostelry, though bowing to modernity with lager and food being available, in addition to Larkins ale. It also features in the 2026 Best pubs in the UK.
Our route will be take us along the River Eden before gently climbing to Crippenden via Lingfield Lodge, Clatfields and Gildridge, with its palatial homes, to Annie's where we will have our picnic lunches (6.5 miles) and refreshment.
Our return will be via Stickhill Wood, Lydens and Delaware before we re-enter Edenbridge.
