Westgate to Ramsgate - return by open-top bus!

We meet outside West Bay Cafe on Sea Road in Westgate. Plenty of free, on street parking. (5 minute walk from Westgate station)\nWe walk along coastal paths (and on sandy beaches where possible) through Margate, Cliftonville and Broadstairs to Ramsgate harbour. \nA leisurely pace, and no significant inclines. \nNo formal lunch stop organised. Bringing snacks would be sensible. \nWe will take the tourist open-top bus back to Westgate. \nThere may be time to grab some food whilst waiting in Ramsgate for the return. \nThe buses run one per hour (at ten past the hour). The return journey takes approx 60 minutes and costs £3. \nWell-behaved dogs and owners are welcome - although they are not allowed on many of the beaches in summer and will need to stay on the footpaths.
