Whitchurch and St Mary Bourne - Please book online

The walk starts from the Whitchurch Silk Mill car park, from where we wander through the village before heading north-west, taking tracks and footpaths across fields and through woods to Egbury and on to Binley, subsequently dropping down to our anticipated lunch stop at St Mary Bourne. Leaving St Mary Bourne, we cross the water meadows to join a short section of the B3048, passing the Vitacress Watercress Beds, before returning to Whitchurch via Cowdown Copse. Given good weather, the route should provide some excellent views.

Please check the weather forecast on the day and dress appropriately in that there are significant exposed sections on the route. Sun screen, a hat, and additional water are recommended if the weather is going to be hot - waterproofs if it's going to be wet!
